Galdyr is committed to protecting personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
2. What Information We Collect
About you (the subscribing business): Business name, trade type, service area, contact name, email address, phone number. Payment details are processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers.
About your callers: Name, phone number, suburb, job description and urgency provided during the call, call recording and transcript.
Usage data: Service logs, call timestamps, account activity.
3. How We Use This Information
We use personal information to: deliver the Service; process payments; improve the Service; comply with legal obligations; and communicate with you about your account. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

Each provider is subject to data processing agreements. Where data is transferred overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected consistently with the APPs.
5. Caller Data
Caller information is collected on behalf of our business subscribers. That subscriber is responsible for how they use caller information. We retain caller data for up to 12 months, after which it is deleted or anonymised.
6. Data Security
We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access, including encrypted storage, access controls, and secure transmission. In the event of an eligible data breach, we will notify affected individuals and the OAIC as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
7. Cookies
Our website uses cookies for analytics and functionality. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, though some features may not work correctly.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information. To exercise these rights, email hello@galdyr.com. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au or by calling 1300 363 992.
